The CSUB Women's water polo team has just wrapped up a successful 2008 season. Playing the entire year with a roster of 9 women, the CSUB team finished with a 19-18 record. The Roadrunners brought home some hardware this year as Junior Amanda Ortiz was named the WWPA conference player of the year, Junior Veronica Campbell was named WWPA newcomer of the year as our starting goalie, and fellow classmate Petra Koudelkova was named WWPA 2nd team All-Confeference and 2nd team All-tournament.
Without CSUB Water Polo, the Bakersfield Water Polo Club would not exist. It is important that we do what we can to support CSUB Water Polo.
