Fall Intro Session is open to boys and girls ages 8-18.  This is a deep water introduction to the sport of water polo.  We will teach the basic skills such as: swimming more efficiently, treading water, passing and catching with one hand, improved coordination in the water, developing skills and strength in the water, and developing  a basic understanding of how the game is played.  This is a 6 week  session that  meets once a week on Tuesdays from 5:00-6:00pm.  This session goes from Sept 7-Oct 12, 2010.  All practices are at CSUB's Hillman Aquatic Center.

Equipment needed: Swim suit, towel, goggles (optional) and sunblock.

Cost $35 for club registration.  Bring check on first day made out to BWPC.

$15 United States Water Polo Insurance.  Must be paid by credit card online BEFORE the first practice.

Follow the instructions below to register.

Step 1

New USA Water Polo members:
1. If you have never been a member of USA Water Polo, you will create a login through the registration process at: https://webpoint.usawaterpolo.com/wp/Memberships/League_Join.asp
2. Use the pull down menu to select Bakersfield Fall Intro '10 League.
3. Athlete, Coach & Referee registrations are available to select, then click "Next". Coaches and Referees are free!
4. Continue through the process to create an account and process the $15.00 fee and complete the transaction.  Be sure to select the proper team.
5. Upon registration you should receive a confirmation page and email.
6. Your name should appear on the search feature under: Bakersfield Fall Intro '10 League:https://webpoint.usawaterpolo.com/website/search/SrchLeagueMbrs.aspCurrent or past USA Water Polo members:

1. If you are already a member or have had a USA Water Polo membership in the past, you will want to login first by clicking on "Member Login":

2. Once logged in, mouse over "Join" on the left hand side
3. Select "Join US Leagues"
4. Using the pull down menu, select Bakersfield Fall Intro '10 League.
5. Athlete, Coach & Referee registrations are available to select, then click "Next" and complete the transaction.  Silver & Gold members, Coaches and Referees are free!
6. Even if you have had a Bronze membership in the past, you will need to register again for this league and submit the registration fee of $15.00.  Be sure to select the proper team.
7. Upon registration you should receive a confirmation page and email.
8. Your name should appear on the search feature under:  Bakersfield Fall Intro '10 League:https://webpoint.usawaterpolo.com/website/search/SrchLeagueMbrs.asp

 

Step 2-To register with the  Bakersfield Water Polo Club:

  Participants will NOT be able to get in the water until the USWP registration is completed and paid online. 

The $35 club registration, payable to Bakersfield Water Polo Club can be brought on the first day of practice.
